Dr. LK Maheshwari, Former Vice Chancellor - BITS Pilani

Former Vice Chancellor of BITS Pilani, Dr. Maheshwari has served as a faculty at BITS since 1971. Having published over 80 research papers in the areas of Semiconductor Electronics, Instrumentation, Educational Development and University-Industry Linkages, etc., he has received many honours including the 1995 Scientist of the Year Award by the Gian Chand Jain Memorial Foundation. He recently set up a Trust named Professor L.K. Maheshwari Foundation to promote the cause of education and research in the field of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering and other allied areas.
