Vinod Kalani ('72), BITSAA Jaipur Chapter
Having graduated in Pharmacy (Hons.) from BITS, Pilani in 1977, he has a rare blend of knowledge and experience - combining first hand knowledge with that of controlling and directing the entire gamut of business activities. His excellent track record is a result of his knack of highly motivated team, dedicated to achieve Company's objectives.
Mr. Kalani has been managing his own company - Jaipur Pharmaceutical Works, Jaipur for over last 32 years.
Mr. Kalani, in 1992, established another professionally managed organization Cris Pharma (India) Limited. This company is operational from June 2006 with a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at Dehradun, in the state of Uttaranchal.
He started a commercial analytical laboratory - Oasis Test House Limited, Jaipur in 1981, which is one of the leading testing laboratories in northern India; and in 1995, he started another commercial analytical laboratory - Oasis Test House at Ahmedabad.
Besides being efficient in management, Mr. Kalani has been an active member of various associations such as Indian Pharmaceutical Association, Indian Pharmaceutical Graduates Association. His efficiency and credibility is acknowledged equally by the professionals, the industry and the Government.
He is President, Rajasthan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association; Vice Chairman, Confederation of Indian Pharma Industry (CIPI); Gen Sec, Federation of Pharma Entrepreneurs (FOPE) and Senior Gen. Secretary, Trade & Industry Cell, Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee Recipient of IPA Fellowship Award 2008.
