Vinod Puri ('60), Chairman
Vinod Puri, President of BITSAA - Delhi Chapter, was born in the Golden Temple city of Amritsar. He joined Birla Engineering College in 1960 and completed his graduation in Electrical Engineering in December 1964. He setup his own Company at New Delhi in 1966. Vipko Engineers was specializing in installation and repair of high end electronic equipment imported by embassies and expats. In 1971, the company rose to a consultant, designer and installer of electrical and Air Conditioning plant Systems in India and Nepal. Since 1971, he has been providing world class consultation, operation and maintenance of various utilities involved in embassies and consulates. In his latest venture he is also active in consulting and guiding through his experience and vision AVP Solutions, a Digital Surveillance and Home/Commercial Automation Enterprise with an aim to explore technologies to make our lives greener and secured. Member of Freemasonry, an international fraternal and charitable organization and holds the rank of Deputy Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of India and the rank of Honorary Assistant Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Mauritius. Association with BITSAA DELHI CHAPTER goes back to 1970 and since then he has been associated being Honorary Secretary and President for many years.
