Vijay Sharma ('06), Vice President
Vijay is an M.Sc. (Hons.) Chemistry Graduate of the 2010 Batch. He immediately passed out of College to join the National Entrepreneurship Network - an organization that supports high-potential Entrepreneurs across India by working with Educational Institutes (540 Membered) with BITS Pilani being a Founding Institute. His role is to lead the creation of the E Leader Development Program (Student Heads of Entrepreneurship Cells in campuses) and is trying to do that.
He was President of the Students Union (2008-09) , BITS Pilani and takes pride in being part of the Team that raised the APOGEE 09 bar to never before seen standards. His Team made APOGEE the 1st ever ISO 9001:2008 Certified Festival in India and successfully conducted 12 Off-Campus Workshops , quality Guest Lectures by speakers such as Jimmy Wales, Michael Cremo, Dr. S.P. Kothari, Dilip Chhabria, John C. Mather and Michael Hogedel , also getting an army DRDO exhibit 3 T-90 Tanks at Gym Grounds from Hisar.
Ultimately it all boils down to Football for him and Indian Football in particular. Manchester United though finds itself in his email id.
