Satish Polisetti ('02), Vice President
Satish Polisetti (aka 'sat~p) ('02) is pursuing his Masters in Information Systems from UC Berkeley & Certification in Management of Technology from Haas School of Business. He was recently selected as a Fellow by a VC firm, Mayfield Fund and traveled to China during May to study entrepreneurship in emerging markets. He is currently interning with a start-up firm in mobile advertising space as a Business Development Manager. Satish graduated from Pilani with a Dual Degree in Electrical & Electronics and Mechanical Engineering. After completing semester long internships in Qualcomm-Bangalore, Cypress - San Jose, Satish worked for a couple of years at Infineon Technologies - Singapore/Bangalore.
At Pilani he held leadership positions in the capacity of Joint Coordinator for Mechanical Association, Joint Editor of Annual Year Book of batch 2002, Executive Committee Member of Recreational Activity Forum and Member, Department of Sponsorship & Marketing in the initial years. Satish believes that publishing and writing are channels to reach the largest alumni community with prospective objectives of BITSAA. Hence he served as Director, BITSAA Newsletter since Jan 2009 and Associate Editor, Sandpaper since 2008. He is now eager to handle more challenging tasks by helping BITSAA materialize BGM 2011.
