Mayank Mathur ('06), Director, Souvenir Team
Mayank Mathur is interested in grassroot development and is currently working with a leading microfinance institution called Ujjivan Financial Services on a full time basis. An efficient manager and always leading from the front, he has been actively involved in the Electronics & Instrumentation Association, BITS Pilani since his first year. He worked as the APOGEE-2k9 Coordinator and introduced the concept of workshops by industry professionals from well renowned firms like National Instruments and Cypress Semiconductors. His enthusiasm and dedicated effort towards promoting industry-university collaboration has led to the establishment of PSoC lab in BITS Pilani. He was awarded Mantra Awards-09 under the category ‘Trailblazer of The Year’ by BITSAA for showcasing exceptional leadership skills. He is currently an active member of BITSAA and is working for the Newsletter Team as Manager and BITSAA Global Meet Team 2011 as Team Leader in the Outreach Team. He is also very passionate about establishing a strong network of Electronics & Instrumentation Alumni of BITS Pilani and has been working whole-heartedly towards it. He loves interacting with new people and has made it a hobby to reading about the eminent personalities and take inspiration from them
