Hareish Gur ('94), Vertical Head, Outreach & Marketing
Hareish is Vice President with Newgen Software Technologies Ltd. and heads Sales for India and APAC countries. He had joined Newgen as head of R&D. Under his leadership, his team constantly delivered innovative products and prepared the company for long-term Intellectual Property-based business strategy. Later as head of Global Marketing, he co-strategized and supported multi-country strategy that led the company to have large customer base (more than 700 deployments) in 35+ countries. Before joining Newgen, Hareish was on the faculty of BITS-Pilani for two and half years. Hareish is MBA (Master in Management) from Asian Institute of Management (AIM)-Manila and Computer Engineering graduate from BITS-Pilani. He is the present Secretary of the AIM Alumni Association, Delhi Chapter, and Executive Committee member of BITSAA, Delhi Chapter. With 20+ years of professional experience across the value chain of the IT industry, Hareish holds unique insights and perspectives on the industry's future growth. He has also authored columns for several leading business publications.
